What's On The DVD Player:
School Rumble Vol.1-3
School Rumble Vol.1-3
The plot of this story as I tell you, doesn't involve any type of rumbling
(unless you mistake the title for a fighting brawl anime). But it does
involve a funny love triangle plot device in which for instant, Tenma is
love for the ever clueless Karasuma while the school delinquent Harima
have a crush on Tenma and as for Karasuma, did I mention he's clueless
(except when he thinks about curry). They also throw in a mind-reading
sister, a love letter in a extra-long scroll size , a long range of arrow
dodging and a fast pace bike chase scene that puts Initial D to shame
(and that's just the first volume). So all in all, this is one of the funniest
romantic comedy I've seen so far this year and if you're planning on
watching this with your buddies or a special someone for laughs, go for
it. It's highly recommended.
I'll give this 4 1/2 out of 5 for the first three volumes.
